Charles M. Zakrzewski

July 27, 1905 – June 24, 1982

Charles M. Zakrzewski, 76, died at 10:40pm Thursday in the Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg WV, after an extended illness.

He was born on July 27, 1905, in South Bend.  He was a veteran of WW II.  Surviving are two sisters, Miss Elsie Zachary and Mrs. Carrie Matuszak, both of South Bend; and three brothers, Adam Zachary of Phoenix AZ, Stanley Zachary of Dowagiac and Alex Zachary of Sarasota FL.

Services will be at 10am Monday in the St Joseph Funeral Home.  Deacon Ervin Kuspa of St Adalbert’s Catholic Church will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Sunday at the funeral home.
