Mary J. Zakrzewski

July 23, 1920 – November 15, 1980

BRISTOL – Services for Mrs. Mary J. Zakrzewski, 60, of Rt 1, who was dead on arrival at 1:04am Saturday at Elkhart General Hospital, will be at 10am Tuesday in St Mary’s Catholic Church, of which she was a member.  Rev. John Vrabley, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm Monday in the Hartzier-Gutermuth Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30pm.

She was born on July 23, 1920, in North Liberty.  On May 31, 1941, in South Bend, she married Edward S. Zakrzewski, who survives.  Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Victor (Joanna) Herman of Canton OH; a son, Robert of Constantine MI; four grandchildren; and a brother, Albert Delater of Los Angeles CA.  She was a member of the Rosary Society of the church, Ladies of the Moose and the Bristol American Legion Post Auxiliary.
