Theresa D. Zarembka, 95, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Bonds Avenue, South Bend, passed away at 11:10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4 in the home of her son, Robert. She was born to Lawrence and Frances (Szymanski) Bonczynski who preceded her in death.

On Nov. 11, 1931, she married Leo S. Zarembka who passed away on April 23,1998. Also deceased are five sisters, Veronica Toth, Evelyn Pacala, Lillian Szynski, Josephine Kujawa, Pearl Wroblewski and two brothers, Frank Bonczynski and Sylvester Bonczynski. Surviving her are three sons, Ronald (Arlene) Zarembka of East Providence, R.I., Robert (Marcia) Zarembka of Akron, Ohio, and Gene (Roberta) Zarembka of South Bend; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Przygoda of South Bend. Theresa belonged to St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 823 S. Mayflower Road. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
