Mrs. Edward F. Zbrzezny: (South Bend Tribune 8/11/1969)


Mrs. Delphine Zbrzezny, 45, of 17474 Ireland Rd., died unexpectedly at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital. She was employed by the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corp. in food services. She was born on July 13, 1924 in South Bend and lived here all of her life. On Sept. 6, 1947, in St. Casimir’s Catholic Church, she was married to Edward F. Zbrzezny, who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Mary Kolecki of South Bend; a son, Dale, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Johns, of South Bend: and a brother, Richard Kolecki, of Michigan. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today and from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Casimir’s Church with Rev. George Szymanowski, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mrs. Zbrzezny was a member of the Holy Rosary Society and the Adoration Society of St. Casimir’s Church.
