Donald Lyle Zeiger

SOUTH BEND - Donald Lyle Zeiger, 71, of Stonehedge Lane, died at 10:40 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, after an illness.

 

Mr. Zeiger was supervisor of buildings and groundskeeper for Union-North United School Corp. He was born Oct. 1, 1923, in Union Township.

 

On July 17, 1945, in South Bend, he married Doris E. Everett. She survives with three daughters, Delaine Mikolajczak of Portland, Ore., and Jeannette Matthews-Hemphill and Cheryl C. McNerney, both of South Bend; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale R. of Lakeville. He was a member of Fellowship of Christian Magicians and a World War II Army veteran.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sonlight Fellowship Wesleyan Church. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home and one hour before services Tuesday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church's Van Fund.

SOUTH BEND - Services for Donald L. Zeiger, 71, of Stonehedge Lane, who died at 10:40 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sonlight Fellowship Wesleyan Church.

 

Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home and an hour before services Tuesday in the church.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the church van fund.
