SOUTH BEND - Paul Herbert Zeiger, 75, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 11:25 a.m. Monday in Integrated Health Services, Sebring. Mr. Zeiger retired as the co-owner/operator of Zeiger Brothers Dairy Farm, South Bend.

 

He was born Nov. 22, 1919, in St. Joseph County and lived in South Bend until 1979. His first wife, Alice, died in 1962.

 

On Dec. 27, 1963, in Plymouth, he married Evelyn L. Sahlhoff. She survives with five daughters, Janet Flynn and Cherie Collier, both of South Bend, Lynda Nicolai of Lake Placid, Fla., Pamela Stickley of Nappanee, and Angela Cunningham of Sebring; three sons, Steven of Pelham, Ala., Oscar of Atlanta, and August of South Bend; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Duane of South Bend.

 

He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Post 25, Lake Placid, Moose Post 2374, Lake Placid, Farm Bureau, Faithful Followers and was past president of Aide Association for Lutherans.

 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville.

 

Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
