Hattie E. Zeitler

October 26, 1895 - May 17, 1965

Mrs. Hattie E. Zeitler, 69, of 136 N. Notre Dame Ave., died at 1:40am today in St Joseph's Hospital after an illness of four years.  She was born on October 26, 1895, in South Bend, residing here her lifetime.  Her husband, Edward J. died on April 14, 1961.  She is survived by a son, John E. of Niles; a daughter, Mrs. Chester Herman of South Bend; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; four brothers, Frank & Walter  Kashmer, George Kazmierzak, all of South Bend, and Edward Kashmer of Osceola, and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Edwards and Mrs. Stanley Martinkowski, both of South Bend.

Friends may call after 7pm today at the Orvis Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2pm Wednesday Rev. Edward W. Brueseke, D.D., pastor, of Zion United Church of Christ, will officiate and burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  She was a member of the Zion United Church and its Women's Guild.
