Roy A. Zellers

June 29, 1879 – May 21, 1964

Roy A Zellers, 84, of 814 Alabama St., died at 2am today in St Joseph’s Hospital following a short illness. 

He was born in Kewanna IN, June 29, 1879 and had lived here since 1909 coming from Plymouth.  He married Nellie Crim in Mishawaka February 11, 1918 and she died August 11, 1962.  He had been employed by the Ball Band Plant for 32 years before he retired in 1946.

Surviving are two sons, Carl E. Zellers of Mishawaka and Harold A. Zellers, with whom he lived; three daughters, Mrs. Dean Sowers, Of Mishawaka and Mrs. T. F. Parcel and Mrs. D. E. Boland, both of San Diego CA; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after 11amd Friday and until the funeral services there at 1pm Saturday Williard W. Leavens, minister of the Milburn Blvd Church of Christ, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
