Stanley Zielinski

February 6, 1886August 22, 1953

 

Stanley Zielinski, 109 S Hill St., Mishawaka, died in his home at 3:15am today after a prolonged illness.  Born in Poland February 6, 1886, he moved from South Bend to Mishawaka 11 years ago.  He came to South Bend 41 years ago from Hammond IN.  He operated the Pop’s Service Station in Mishawaka until retirement four years ago.

 

On November 14, 1910, he was married in Terre Coupe, this county, to Miss Helen Kwestorowski, who survives.  Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clara Terlecki and Mrs. Estelle Miller, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Frances Odd, Chesterton IN; two sons, Victor, South Bend, and Alex, Downey CA; two brothers, Valentine, in Poland, and Felix in France; two sisters, Mrs. Antoinette Walczak and Mrs. Mary Walicka, both in Poland, and 13 grandchildren.

 

Friends may call after 3pm Sunday in St Joseph Funeral Chapel.  The funeral will be held at 9am Wednesday in St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Curt A Suelzer, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Polish Cemetery.  Mr. Zielinski was a member of the Polish National Alliance Group, 2315 in Mishawaka.
