Victor A. Zielinski Sr.

December 29, 1914 – July 19, 1993

SOUTH BEND – Victor A. Zielinski Sr, 78, of 2513 Gordon Circle, died at 11:56pm Monday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mr. Zielinski retired in 1985 from Freeman Spicer Avanti.

He was born December 29, 1914, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.  On February 14, 1942, in South Bend, he married Mary M. Wincek. She survives, with a daughter, Lois Smith of Greenville SC; two sons, Victor A. Jr of Clearwater FL and David of South Bend; six grandchildren, a sister, Stella Miller of Fort Wayne; and a brother, Alex of Temple City CA.

Mr. Zielinski was a veteran of World War II.  He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and Ushers Club, Boy Scouts of American and American Legion Pulaski Post 357.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Cremation will take place with burial in St Joseph Cemetery.  There will be no visitation...  St Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
