NORTH LIBERTY - Dorothy J. Zigrang, 80, of 203 Harrison St., died at 9:15 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mrs. Zigrang retired from Schafer Gear Works, South Bend, after 32 years of service. She was born April 1, 1914, in Grovertown, and was a lifelong area resident.

In 1947, as Dorothy J. Morse, she married Ole Zigrang. He died in 1966. She is survived by a sister, Helen Neidlinger of North Liberty; two nephews, William Morse of South Bend and DuWayne Neidlinger of Michigan City; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place with burial in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte. A.M. Manuel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
