MISHAWAKA - Donna J. Zimmerman, 84, of Mishawaka, died at
5:55 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007, in Elkhart General Hospital,
following an extended illness. She was born on January 31, 1923,
in Spring Valley, MN, to John Leo and Bertha (Smith) Jenks.
She married Dr. Ernest E. Zimmerman on May
25, 1942, in Chicago, IL. She is survived by her husband; three
brothers, George Jenks and Donald (Louise) Jenks, both of
Milwaukie, OR, and Dale (Sharon) Jenks of Renton, WA; two
sisters, Leone (Mike) McCullough of Concord, CA, and Karen
(Frank) Arnold of Port Orchard, OR; seven nieces and
nephews, Alan (Barbara) Grant of Fort Atkinson, WI, Susan Clark
of Palestine, IL, Dane Grant of Fond du Lac, WI, Larry Grant of
Mishawaka, IN, Patric (Jeanie) Grant of Milwaukee, WI, Shawn
Grant of Eden, WI, and Kerry (Harry) Pierotti of Neshkoro,
WI. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Rae Grant of Eden,
WI.
There will be no services or visitation.
Cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services and
burial will be at a later date at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Wild
Rose, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, cards of condolences may be
sent to her husband at 12159 McKinley Highway, Mishawaka, IN
46545 or memorial contributions may be given to the charity of
the donor's choice. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 E.
Jackson Blvd., Elkhart, Indiana, is in charge of arrangements.
