MISHAWAKA - Helen M. Zimmerman, 92, of 503 W. Tanglewood Lane, died at 12:40 p.m. Sunday in Fountainview Place. Mrs. Zimmerman was born Dec. 5, 1902, in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident.

On May 7, 1921, in Mishawaka, Helen M. Barnes, she married Edgar G. Zimmerman. He died in 1986. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Hartz of Granger and Lois Thomas of Sarasota, Fla.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Bodine Powell of Ellentown, Fla. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
