MISHAWAKA - Jackie E. Zimmerman, 73, of Mishawaka, died in
the home of her beloved cousin, Betty Shoemaker, on
Monday, Sept. 1, 2008. Jackie was born in English Lake, Indiana,
on February 5, 1935, to George and Docha (Engel) Royce,
who preceded her in death. Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by four
daughters, Sherry (Wyatt) Akers of Ft. Wayne, Marshanna Hayes
of Mishawaka, Rita (Michael) Bird of South Bend and Devona
(Bill) Shriber of Mishawaka; and a son, Earl Zimmerman of
Mishawaka. Also surviving her are 11 grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren. Jackie was a dietary aide at Ironwood Health
and Rehabilitation. She enjoyed dancing, walking and her family.
Friends are invited to spend time with the family on Saturday, September 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St.
