Mrs. Mabel Zimmerman

August 12, 1884 – May 1, 1965

Mrs. Mabel Viola Zimmerman, 80, of 913 S. Logan St., died early today in Memorial Hospital after a two month illness.

She was born August 12, 1884 in Allen County IN, and had lived most of her lifetime in South Bend coming from Allen County.

Surviving are two sons, Wallace, of South Bend, Dwight, of Mishawaka;  three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Bottorff, Mrs. Harry Winther and Mrs. Dorothy Newton, all of South Bend; one sister, Mrs. Harry Kees, of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Friends may call after7pm today in the Hollis Funeral Home.  Services will be at 2:30pm Monday in the funeral home.  Rev. Russell B. Kern, pastor of the Mount Pleasant Methodist Church will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
