MISHAWAKA – Frank Zirillie, 75, of 514 E. Broadway, who had been ill for several years, died at 1:15 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Plati, Italy, and moved here from Indianapolis 29 years ago.

He married Frances Catanzarite in Plati Feb. 26, 1908. He had worked for many years for the Ball Band plant, retiring in 1946. Surviving are his widow; one son, Joseph J. Zirille of Mishawaka; four daughters, Mrs. Mickey Valenti and Mrs. Kay O’Neil, of South Bend, Mrs. Mary Ann Benzi of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Betty Sergi of Indianapolis, and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Bubb Chapel after noon Saturday and until the funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Rev. Leo A. Hoffman, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Zirille was a member of St. Monica’s Church and was a charter member of the Di Loreto Club. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in the chapel.
