Robert Steven Tyler Zook

Oct. 20, 1984 - Aug. 31, 2002

Robert Steven Tyler Zook, 17, of Miller Drive, Elkhart, Ind., died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, as the result of an accidental drowning in Berne, Ind.

Robert was born Oct. 20, 1984, to Steven L. and Cynthia Sue (Matteson) Zook, who survive. He is also survived by his brother, Charles "Chuck" Zook; and two sisters, Sara Ruth and Katherine Rose Zook, all at home; his maternal grandparents, Robert J. and Arlene Matteson of Yale, Mich.; and by his paternal grandmother and her husband, Betty J. and Bob Konsella of Portland, Ore.

Robert was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Marvin Zook in 1987.

Robert was a senior at Jimtown High School where he was active in the band, Show Choir, and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was also active on the worship team and the youth leadership team at Cedar Road Missionary Church, Osceola, Ind.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, in Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 State Road 19, Nappanee, Ind., with Rev. Jim Larnard of Cedar Road Missionary Church officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. today in Cedar Road Missionary Church, 525 Cedar Road, Osceola,
