Dolly Zultanski

Dolly Zultanski of South Bend, IN, passed away at 7:25 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2005, in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. She was born to the late Stanley and Sophie (Lubelski) Zultanski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident. Two sisters, Shirley M. Klosinski and Irene Zultanski, and two brothers, Casimer L. "Billy" Zultanski and Sylvester "Sally" Zultanski, all preceded her in death.

 

Ms. Zultanski was retired from Bendix Corporation after 33 years of employment. She was also a music and baton instructor for 33 years at Gene Klosinski Music Studios. She is survived by six nieces, Pat (husband Ken) Ide of North Carolina, Judy (husband Ralph) Boryziak of South Bend, IN, Carol (husband Chuck) Copley of Osceola, IN, Bonnie (husband Steve) Hurley of Colorado, Sharon (husband John) Ptacek of Kalamazoo, MI, and Barbara Werntz of South Bend, IN; five nephews, Eugene "Gene" (wife Betty) Klosinski of South Bend, IN, James (wife Lois) Zultanski of South Bend, IN, Mitch (wife Linda) Zultanski of South Bend, IN, Timothy (wife Kris) Zultanski of Granger, IN, Butch Zultanski of South Bend, IN; two brothers, Walter "Wally" (wife Shirley) Zultanski of South Bend, IN, and Matthew Henry "Hank" Zultanski of South Bend, IN; and one sister-in-law, Stella Zultanski of South Bend, IN.

 

Ms. Zultanski was a member of St. Adalbert Parish, and was active in the West-Side Memorial Day Parade and the Ethnic Festival in South Bend. She was also an active member of the American Youth On Parade (AYOP) and the United States Twirling Association (USTA). Dolly enjoyed playing the piano accordion, and music was the love of her life. Since 1996, she had devoted her life to caring for her sister, Shirley Klosinski, who recently passed away on January 11, 2005.

 

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2005, in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery
