Sylvester Zultanski

Sylvester "Sal" Zultanski, 88, of South Bend, Ind., and Zephyrhills, Fla., died on Friday, Feb. 23, in Hospice of Pasco in Dade City, Fla. A native of South Bend, he had wintered in Zephyrhills since 1988. He was a retired machinist in the automotive industry for Studebaker and the Indiana Toll Road. He was a member of the Breezer's Club St. Stanislaus Church in Indiana.

 

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Stella; a son, James S. Zultanski, and his wife, Lois of South Bend; two daughters, Judy Borysiak, and her husband, Ralph of South Bend, and Patricia Ide and her husband, Ken of Greensboro, N.C.; two brothers, Walter and Henry Zultanski; two sisters, Shirley Klosinski and Dolly Zultanski; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Sophie Lubelski Zultanski; a brother, Casmier "Bill" Zultanski; and by a sister, Irene Zultanski.

 

A Mass will be said at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zephyrhills, and a funeral service will be held in South Bend in St. Stanislaus at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Pasco, Inc., 13933 17th Street, Dade City, FL 33535; or to St. Stanislaus. The Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City, is handling arrangements.
