Sister M. Dorinda CSC, whose worldly name was Hedwige Zunska of South Bend, former teacher at St. Hedwige’s parochal school, was drowned Monday evening, near St. Mary’s, where she had been for several months suffering with mental troubles. She was continuously under the care of two nurses and last evening while her tray was being removed from the room she ran to the river bank and into the water. Workmen attempted to stop her, but she ran so quick that she had gone down the second time before help arrived. She was 27 years old and received the habit in 1905 and was professed in 1910.
