Michael J. Zurawski, 57, of Irish
Hills Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 12:15 a.m. on
Friday, March 5, in his residence. He was born on Sept. 9, 1946,
in South Bend, to John and Ethelyn (Towsley) Zurawski. His
father, John Zurawski and a brother, Alexander Zurawski have
preceded him in death.
On Feb. 14, 1990, in South Bend, he married
Joan Pusti. Michael is survived by his wife, Joan
Zurawski; mother, Ethelyn Zurawski; daughter, Donna Zurawski of
South Bend; stepdaughter, Nancy Van Scoyk of South Bend;
five stepsons, Alan Parker, Richard Parker Sr., Robert
Parker, Joseph S. Parker, Rickey LaFluer, all of South
Bend; six grandchildren, Joseph D. Parker, Jonathan Van Scoyk,
Charlotte Van Scoyk, all of South Bend, Richard Parker Jr. of
Niles, Mich., Krystal (Tom) Szalay, Tiffany Parker, both
of South Bend; great-grandchild, Devin Szalay of South Bend;
sisters, Janet (Jake) Karn and Maryellen (Roger) Curry,
both of South Bend; twin brother, John (Dottie) Zurawski of South
Bend and brother, Andy (Karen) Zurawski of Mishawaka, Ind.
He was a member of the American Legion Post
#357, Associate member of the F.O.P. South Bend Lodge #36.
Michael served in the U.S. Army.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 11,
from noon to 1 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower
Road. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 11, at 1 p.m.
in the funeral home.
