SOUTH BEND - Marianne Deane Zurbuch, 97, of N. Twyckenham
Drive, died Wednesday, Sept. 3 in Healthwin Specialized Care.
Marianne was born March 29, 1911, in Frontenac, Kansas, to
Michael J. and Mary Jane (Forrest) Deane. On June
27, 1936, in Chicago, she married Fred K. Zurbuch who preceded
her in death on January 26, 1988. She was also preceded by her
parents and three brothers, Michael J., James J. and Edward J.
Deane. Surviving are her son, Joseph (Nancy) Zurbuch of South
Bend; three grandchildren, Tracy Williams, Joseph and
Robert Zurbuch; and three great-grandchildren, Haley and Joseph
Zurbuch and Taylor Dugan. Marianne was a charter member of
St. Anthony's Parish.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday September 6 in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church (Jefferson and Ironwood) with interment following at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today Sept. 5 in the HICKEY Funeral Home, 3516 East Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, IN 46615, where a Rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m.
