JOTHAM BRAGDON

JOTHAM BRAGDON is a native of Clermont County, Ohio, born December 11, 1827, being the oldest of four children born to Benjamin and Rebecca (Wood) Bragdon. In 1864, Mr. Bragdon came to his present place, which he has since made his home, and engaged in the occupation of farming, being very successful, now owning 208 3/4 acres of excellent land, all under a high state of cultivation. October 20, 1853, he was married to Miss Asenath M. Fairfield, daughter of Josiah and Sophia (Thompson) Fairfield, and to this union have been born six children, five of whom are now living--Emma B., wife of Dr. G. W. Finley; Rebecca S., Jotham J., Vorhees and Clara A. In his political affiliations, Mr. Bragdon is a Democrat.
