It was in combined with Greene county Indiana and from the 1884 pages you can also go to the Greene county history which is on the Greene county Indiana Site.
It was re-printed in 1974 by Unigraphic, Inc. Evansville, Ind. an index was added to the volume. With it came the index of the history.
The last surname in the index is Harris and page 16.
These are the only files found thus far for the index in the history folder - whether others exist elsewhere in the Green UsGenWebfolder is yet to be determined.
These were in word file "Rich Text Format" I have no idea who sent them, in or when.
All these were pulled through the Adobe Reader and may contain spelling errors because of the way it was read - due to the type of print face that was used at the time it was printed - If you feel there is spelling errors etc. I do have this history on CD-Rom and will re-check the entry. I have tried to catch the errors as I set the pages into HTML.
I have also broken someof the large paragraphs down into smaller ones for easier reading - the tables I [placed in table format with grids to help there - Military rosters I have also put into tables as well as some other things.
