BAYS, JOHN S., attorney at law, was born in Green [sic] County, Ind., in 1850, was in the Indiana State University from 1867 to 1869, and in the law department of the same instiution in 1871 to 1872. Mr. Bays was admitted to the bar in 1870. He came to Sullivan in 1874 and has since practiced law at this place, rising to high rank in his profession. - Hamilton Twp.
