Jacob MahleyMAHLEY, JACOB, manufacturer of and wholesale dealer in hardwood lumber, at Sullivan, Ind., was born in Germany in 1834, and came to this country when a boy. For many years he resided either in Shelby or Johnson County, Ind. Years ago he was a merchant, but about 1884 Mr. Mahley turned his attention to the lumber business. In 1890 be came to Sullivan and here embarked in the hardwood lumber business as a member of the firm of Henry Mahley & Co., which company he succeeded in 1893.
