Recently have been doing a complete overhaul on the site, rearranging pages to get them more organized. I've noticed there are some things I like to have more information on. For instance, I would like to have more of the census records available for researchers. If you would be interested in transcribing the census images, please contact me.

I also want to start a page of folklore, stories told around the fireplace and handed down from one generation to the next. I think it is important to know more about our ancestors than just where they were born and died. So, if you have stories told to you about your family, send them too me and I will include them. They will add a great deal of flavor to your genealogy.

How This All Began In June, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Indiana Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Indiana, where collected databases would be stored. At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the county web pages.
