FARMERSBURG, Ind., Nov. 15 – Mrs. Hattie Carpenter, 60 years old, died at her home in Farmersburg at 6 o’clock Sunday morning. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Anna Story of West Terre Haute, Mrs. Helen Lane of West Terre Haute, Mrs. Mazie Bowling and Mrs. Quanita Powers, both of Toledo Ohio; two sons, Charles Downing of Jasonville and Willard Carpenter, at home; six sisters, four brothers and 18 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Farmersburg Methodist Episcopal church at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. J. C. Fouts will conduct services. Burial will be in West Lawn cemetery.
