SHELBERT FREED
FARMERSBURG, Ind., June 30 (Special) – Shelbert Freed, 69 years old,
of Farmersburg, died at 3:30 o’clock Friday afternoon at Mary Sherman
Hospital in Sullivan. Surviving are a son, Robert Freed of Tucson, Ariz.; two
daughters, Mrs. Jane Straughn of Glendora, Calif., and Mrs. Bette Wallace of
Madera Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Davis of Terre Haute, Mrs. Adelie
Campbell of West Terre Haute and Mrs. Cora Gordon of Prairieton, two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Fidler and Wood
Funeral Home. Interment will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call after
5 o’clock Sunday evening.
