FARMERSBURG, Ind., Nov. 23, Elizabeth Freed, 82 years old, died at the residence in Farmersburg at 11:30 o’clock Saturday night. She is survived by six sons, Albert of Louisville, KY., Walter of Farmersburg, Samp of West Terre Haute, Odis, Sam and Shelby Freed of Terre Haute; five daughters, Hattie Carpenter of Farmersburg, Daisy Ashton of Chicago, Cora Gordon of Prairieton, Ethel Davis and Zetta Campbell of West Terre Haute; three sisters, one brother, 40 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Farmersburg Methodist Church at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon with burial in West Lawn Cemetery.
