ACCIDENT VICTIM

DIES IN HOSPITAL


Odis Freed of Farmersburg died in Union hospital early Monday afternoon from injuries sustained early in the day at Farmersburg when a automobile he was driving was struck by a train on the Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad at a crossing there.

The body was taken to the Allen funeral home at Farmersburg from where the funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.

Freed is survived by four brothers, Shelbert of Terre Haute, Samuel and Walter of Farmersburg, and Albert of Louisville, Ky., and four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Davis, R. R. 2 West Terre Haute; Mrs. Mazie Ashton, Chicago; Mrs. Addie Campbell, West Terre Haute, and Mrs. Cora Gordon, Prairieton.
