Searching for any information on the parents of John Shanks born in Indiana on January 5, 1835. 1880 Indiana census says he lived
in Sullivan county Indiana At the age of 41 with wife Mary Secquery/rest and their children.

I am looking for any and all info regarding my Thurman ancestors in/from Indiana. Most would be from the Vigo county area. I am most
interseted in info regarding Cyrus Thurman who would have lived in Vigo county in the early part of this century. He had a wife
Josephine(maiden name Christopher) who had a brother in the Danville area. Cyrus and Josephine had 3 sons- Banks,Kenneth and Lester.
When Josephine and Cyrus broke up, she and the boys moved to California. Cyrus stayed behind and reportedly died in a mining accident
in Kentucky some time shortly thereafter(this may not be so). Thank you for efforts.

CURRY Seeking family of Martha E. CURRY. Fam tradition has her born in Sullivan Co. ca 1837. She mar Lee MILAM in Knox Co. Nov 1861.
Ch Joseph, John Perry, Lee (died in infancy), George W. We lose track of Lee ca 1865. In 1870 Martha marries John MILNER in Richland
Co., IL. They have Ben, James, and Katy (died in infancy). John disappears. Martha takes her children to IL. Would like to exchange

Thomas LEONARD and sp Cynthia. Thomas was born abt 1828 in Maryland, lived in Illinois in the late 1850's moved to Indiana around
1860. I need parents of Thomas LEONARD, and maiden name of wife Cynthia, children are Mary Ann, Lonzo, James F., Abraham, Polly and
William C. In my HOLBERT line I have Charles W. HOLBERT married to Mary Ann Leonard living with of next to Thomas and Cynthia
Leonard. 1880 Greene co census lists his parents are being born in Germany, I need his parents names, It may not be HOLBERT.

I am query/researching two SURNAMES. My ggg grandfather was Calvin Curry who states that he was born in 1797, Butler Co. Ohio. They
lived there for about 12 years and then moved to So. Indiana. He said he was married in Sullivan co. Indiana to Jane Daniel in 1820.
Jane Daniel states that she was born in 1805 Indiana. I have been trying for eight years to uncover who the parents were of both of
these people. I am not able to come to Indiana to do query/research and was wondering if there is anyone out there who has any data
on these two names. I do know that Calvin had a brother named Elias Curry. I believe that the father of Calvin and Elias could be
William? I have no clues what so ever on Jane.

Jesse Beck b. 1786 in NC m. Maey Magdalena Hinkle b. abt. 1784 in Rowan Co., NC. They came to Sullivan Co. in the early 1800's.
Children-Jacob Wilton-Phillip William-John Henry-James D.-Jesse Harrison (my gg grandfather m. Emily Stalcup)-Hamilton B.-Mary M.
Nicholas Jackson. Most of my records were destroyed by accident so I need everything, also any stories known about the family.

MCINTOSH: Abner Mcintosh and wife Louisa Taylor had son, William A. Mcintosh, 1840 Sullivan. Several other children including
James born 1849. He married a Rebeccah Arnold in Oregon County Missouri abt 1874, had two kids, Washington Mcintosh b. 1875 and
Martha Mcintosh b.1878. James had a sister Melinda born about 1861 in Iowa, who married Rebeccahs nephew Issac Henry Arnold in
Oregon County, Missouri, about 1870. Any info on Abner Mcintosh of relatives of Mcintosh that stayed behind in Indiana. Thanks.
