GODWIN, William F. b. 12-1833 DE married SECREST aka Secrist, Margaret 4-16-1889 Sullivan Co., IN. They had Carrie E. 3-1890, Maud S. 3-1892, William T. 9-1895 & Marietta 3-1897 all in or near Jasonville. (Linton & Coalville or Coaldale not query/sur e of name) After William left Maggie he married a Widow CUNNINGHAM. Also he had to have been married before Maggie as he was 66 at that time and must have been married with kids prior. Margaret aka Maggie, married Asa MAYFIELD 10-21-1912 Greene Co., IN. Margaret had 2 kids with Gentry and 1 with Secquery/rest. A 1910 census would be wonderful, as the 1900 Wright Twp., Greene Co., IN one I got this info from did not list where Williams parents were from. All info appreciated. Thanks.

Would like information about Jeston/Jestin SEXTON who was married to William MATTOX as his second wife. They were in Cass Twp., Sullivan Co., IN in the 1860 census. By 1870, William was dead and Jestin(Jestis in the 1870 census) was living with son Henry and his family, still in Cass Twp. John Wesley MATTOX was also a son of William and Jeston. He married Nancy WALLACE as his second wife. Several SEXTON families were also living in Cass Twp. in these census records. Were they related to Jeston? Does anyone know Jeston's parents? Jeston was born in Virginia according to census records. Would appreciate any information about her, as she and William, John Wesley and Nancy were my husband's ancestors.

I am intequery/rested in finding what happened to Hezekiah Blevins' family after he died in 1869. I found them in the Sullivan Co. census in 1840 & 1850, but after Hezekiah died, I can find no record of his wife, Anna, or their children. Their son, James, is my ggrandfather. I would also like any information about other children and their descendents. I know that Hezekiah and Anna are buried at Indian Prairie cemetary near Pleasantville. I am intequery/rested in any information! Hezekiah's father was also named James. He is buried in Scotland Cemetery in Greene Co.

Henry SHROYER b 1815 in Sullivan County, m 1842 in Sullivan County to Rebecca HUGHS b 1820. They went to Mercer County IL in late 1840s. Notice of Henry's death appeared in Sullivan County newspaper in 1879. Was Henry a son of the Christian SHROYER who appears in 1820 Sullivan County census index? I have heard, but have no proof, that Rebecca HUGHS was daughter of a John HUGHS and a Rachel SHROYER.
