McCallum Cemetery
Craig Township

On Long Run Road, one half mile from State Route 129, under an electric fence, through the creek, over a good sized field, under a barbed wire fence, then almost half way up a fairly high hill, is the McCallum cemetery. Only one tall stone is visable from the road when there are no leaves on the trees. There are two carved field stones still standing, one of which is at least two feet by three feet hight. Around some of the stones is a small wall made of field stones, which have been cut and made smooth on one side. It had to have taken great care and patience to make this wall. Besides the commercial stones, some of which are so large you wonder how they got them there and put them up, there are possibly 20 or more burials marked by field stones. Almost all of the stones are down.
