My Grandma, Lola Mae Kile Polk's first cousin Eva wrote on the picture she sent to Grandma:

"Here Lola is the church that our Great Grandfather Riley help build. It is now over 100 years old. I joined there when I was about 12 yrs old. I expect you might enjoy it. Just think they were seven years building it. Had to haul the brick with oxen. The church still look good not very many go. It's only about 1 or 1 1/2 mile from me."

I don't know who Eva's parents are. I think her Mom was either ClaraBelle McCellan or Lilly May Lemen.

My Great Great Great Grandpa Riley's daughter was named Indiana. She married Joseph Arnold Hinman in 1867. Indiana died May 21, 1881. Joseph died in 1877. Joseph apparently was severely injured in a war. Indiana's siblings were Mary, married Addie Lineback near Florence; Sara, married Amos Chase; Myria, married George Hinbet at Patriot, Ind. Rebecca & Cassie who both died near Florence and were buried by their parents.
