HEART TROUBLE
Suddenly Ends Switzerland County Farmer’s Life
Died Tuesday Night—Retired Apparently in Best of Health

Amie Nelson, 57, one of the best known farmers in Switzerland county, died of acute heart trouble at his home on Vevay Route 2, Tuesday night at 11:05 o'clock. Death came without warning. He had retired early, apparently in the best of health. At 11 o'clock Mrs. Nelson heard him breathing heavily and attempted to arouse him. He breathed once or twice more and was dead. Mr. Nelson had always been blessed with good health. He nor his family were aware that his heart was effected. He had been an honest and industrious citizen throughout his life, and had just reached the stage when he was enjoying life more than ever before. His death is untimely, and besides the breaking up of the home ties, it has cast a spell of gloom throughout the community in which he lived and has brought sadness to scores of friends. Mr. Nelson was born in the same house in which he died, and had spent his entire life there. His married life was an unusually happy one. Besides his wife he leaves three children, James, Mrs. Grace Scudder and Ruth.—Vevay Enterprise.
