They were married in Floyd County, IN, in 1881, but moved a couple of times and shortly afterward settled in Lafayette. Edward worked for the Monon Railroad Shops in Lafayette from 1894 until his death in 1928 (he died while at the shops). They had four children: Rose May, George H., Edna P., and Pearl. Ellen died 22 May 1919. I believe this photograph was taken outside their home in Lafayette.
