Robert Floyd Sayers, born December 23, 1804, in Tazewell Co., Virginia, the son of Alexander Sayers and Susan Cecil. Robert Sayers was an early pioneer of Tippecanoe Co., settling in Jackson Township. He married Elizabeth Magee Frogge July 28, 1839, in Tippecanoe County. Robert Sayers died April 22, 1872.	Elizabeth Magee Frogge, born April 17, 1819, in Fentress Co., Tennessee, she was the daughter of Arthur Robinson Frogge and Jane Thompson Richardson. Elizabeth died July 24, 1893. Elizabeth and Robert Sayers are buried in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Jackson Township.


Alexander Thompson Sayers, born Nov. 21, 1840, he was the son of Robert Floyd Sayers and Elizabeth Magee Frogge. Alexander died Sept. 5, 1933. He married Caroline Carter, Oct. 1, 1867, in Fountain Co., IN.	Caroline Carter Sayers, born Nov. 3, 1844, she was the daughter of Samuel Carter and Anna Mills of Fountain Co., IN. Caroline died April 5, 1919. Caroline and Alexander are buried in Salem Cemetery, Davis Twp., Fountain Co., IN.
