Jane Garrard, born August 12,1852 in Warren Co., IN, she was the  daughter of Samuel Garrard and Juliette Lemming.  Jane died December 17, 1932, in Tippecanoe Co., IN.   She was married April 25, 1872, to Henry Clay Watkins in Warren Co.   Henry was born June 6, 1848, in Sussex Co., DE, son of Josiah Watkins and Elizabeth Gowty.  Would love to find a photo of Henry!

Gertrude Watkins  (1874-1929) daughter of Henry C. Watkins  and Jane Garrard.  She was  married 1894 in Warren Co., IN, to her first-cousin once removed, Ira Garrard.  Ira and Gertrude had two children: Bessie Garrard Franklin (see next photo) and Carl.	Standing: Lewis Napoleon Watkins (1877-1968) with his cousin Ira Garrard and Ira's dau. Bessie Garrard Franklin.  Lewis was the son of Henry C. Watkins  and Jane Garrard.  He was married in 1906 in Battle Ground, IN, to Ethel John Downs.	Standing: Theodore "Dode" Watkins (1891-1931) son of Henry C. Watkins and Jane Garrard. Man sitting is unknown.

Note on back of photo: "Uncle Bill Watkins on the left."  Was this the same William Watkins that was the son of Henry and Jane Garrard Watkins?  Others are unknown.

Harley Oliver Watkins with his second wife Pauline.  Harley, born 1888 in Warren Co., IN, was the son of Henry and Jane Watkins.  He lived in Tippecanoe Co. for awhile and was first married to Carrie Hamilton in Carroll Co.  He remarried to Pauline and they lived in Kokomo, Howard Co., IN.  Harley died 1962 in Kokomo.	Pearl Watkins Irwin Reynolds (1892-1967) on left and Clara Watkins McNeely Poore (1888-1962) on right.  Daughters of Henry C. and Jane Garrard Watkins.

Note on photo indicated that the woman third from the right is Alice Watkins.  Her husband Carl Riley is on her left.

Just to give you a short ralationship, Grace Maude Riley Gonce is the lady in the darker dress, fourth from the left.  She married George Alvin Gonce, my great-grandfather.   Two of the other ladies, second and fifth from left are Ada and Ida Gonce, their daughters.  The last man on the far right, John William Riley, Jr., brother to Grace Maude Riley and Oakley Carl Riley.   My grandfather, Willis Eugene Gonce is the son of Grace Maude Riley and George Alvin Gonce.
