Harry Morton Downs (1865-1938) and
Mary E. Hayward (1869-1933) (adopted name was Minnie Muter).
Harry was the son of Andrew James Downs and Mary Francis Tuttle.
Mary was the daughter of William Willard Hayward and Elizabeth Ann Clapton.

She was married to Lewis N. Watkins Dec. 24, 1906,

Joseph Lewis Watkins (1927- ) and Betty Lorene Davis (1922-1986) on their wedding day, June 23, 1944. He was the son of Lewis N. Watkins and Ethel J. Downs; she was the daughter of Elvah Carter Davis and Thelma Evelyn Hawkins.	Your Coordinator Adina Watkins Dyer (just a few short years ago - I'm not telling how many!), daughter of Joseph Lewis Watkins and Betty Lorene Davis. I was married Oct. 17, 1970, to Grant Lee Baldwin Dyer, in Lafayette, IN.

William and Minerva Muter, adoptive parents of Mary E. Hayward.
They changed her name to Minnie Muter.
