Luella (Ollham, Oteham) Snouwaert, born around 1875 in Holland/Belgium. Possible maiden name Van Nootingham.  Her mother remarried either Oteham or Ollham around Attica. Married Eduard Snouwaert 1895, died 1945 living near Jackson Township Methodist Church at the time. Want to know place of birth, her parents, date of immigration and any travel information to this country.  Know she settled around Attica, IN.

Eduard Snouwaert, born around 1871 in Holland, settled around Attica, IN, died 1922 in Fowler, IN.  Need place of birth,
his parents, how he got to America.

I am looking for information on the Farmers Institute school and church located in Tippecanoe county. My grandfather was minister and teacher there in 1917 or 1918. His name was Rev.Pearly Guyer and his wife's name was Iva Marie Guyer, they had three children, Lenard, Dorothy, and Paul.  Paul was born in the rectory of the church. George LOWRY born abt. 1808 in VA and Anna PAYNE born abt. 1815 in VA were
married 27 Mar 1832 in Fayette Co., OH.  Their children were:
1. Margaret Harriet LOWRY born abt. 1835 IN.
2. Solomon LOWRY born October 1838 IN.
3. Nelson LOWRY born March 1844 IN.
4. David Francis LOWRY born September 1852 IN.
LOWRY and PAYNE families were in Clinton and Tippecanoe Cos., IN 1840? and after.  Anna (PAYNE) LOWRY married Archibald HUNTER 2 Jan 1859 in Tippecanoe Co., IN after the death of husband George.  The 1850 census of Tippecanoe Co., IN states that George and Anna were born in VA.  Would like to know where in VA they were from and where George LOWRY and Anna (PAYNE) LOWRY HUNTER are
buried.  Also would like exchange information with other LOWRY and PAYNE researchers.

WHETSEL, Henry Monroe 25 Aug 1860 - 8 Aug 1900, married Laura Lee COWELL 10 Jun 1891 in LaFayette, IN. They had one known child, Dudley Moore b. 5 Aug 1892. Henry may have died there although he is buried (without wife) in his parents family plot in Boone County, IN. Engraved on his large, granite tombstone: LaFayette Com.No 3.K.T. LaFayette Div.No.7BoFL.E. Would anyone know what that inscription means? It must have been something the family was proud of as the lettering is quite large. Seeking information on the following from Tippecanoe Co.: NATHANIEL W. DAVIS b. 1810 KY married DELILA JANE BISHOP August 26, 1834 in Franklin Co., IN. They are found in the 1850 Boone Co. IN census and in 1860 in Lauramie Twp., Tippecanoe Co.  They had the following children: EDGAR C. DAVIS born in 1835, he married LORA ANN CLARK, daughter of EDMUND and MARGARET CAMPBELL CLARK. Edgar and Lora are found in Lauramie Twp. in 1870, but lived most of their lives in Odell.; WILSHIRE M.(Marion?) DAVIS born ca. 1840, lived in Carroll Co., IN in 1870's.  GEORGANNE DAVIS born ca. 1845, married JAMES CAMPBELL in Tippecanoe Co., and lived in Battle Ground.   DELILA  married second to DANIEL CRADELBAUGH 1865 in Tippecanoe Co.  He died in 1891 in Darke Co., OH, but was buried in Battle Ground Cem.  Delila survived, and heirs mentioned in his estate were TITUS L. CRADLEBAUGH, JOHN D. CRADLEBAUGH, AND HARRIET FALCONER. When did Delila die, and whatever happened to Wilshire?  Will appreciate any information.

Many of us are connected to Thomas JUDD who came to America about 1633 from England. My direct line settled in Dearborn County and then scattered to all parts of Indiana including Tippecanoe County..  I am interested in obtaining information on the Snyder family which is my gr-gr grandmothers family. They lived in Tippecanoe Co. and she and my grgr-grandfather were married in Tipp. Co. I am interested in a marriage record for Idella Frances Snyder and Charles Edgar Montgomery M.R. 28 p.521. also a Marly B. Snyder to a Philip Shibley M.R. 16 p.570. I believe these might be sisters of my grgr-grandmother. If any one can help I would appreciate it . I am a volunteer who does look-ups for our genealogy society in Hardin Co. Seeking info on ABRAHAM HAINES & wife ELIZABETH. Moved to Tippecanoe in 1827/28. Known children: John, Jacob, and Joseph. Trying to establish this couple as the parents of my ANNA HAINES (m. DANIEL STROUP) who also moved from Ohio to Tippecanoe the same year and purchased adjoining lands to children. Son, John died in 1831 and left an orphan daughter, BETSEY HAINES, who became the ward of her grandparents-Abraham and Elizabeth.

I am looking for information on the family of Nathon Andrews. I found him in Tippecanoe Cty. Census in 1840. Then later in Iowa in 1850. I am interested in his mother and uncles. His mother was Naomi Gregory, married the first time to William Andrews. She has(reportedly) two brothers, one named Aaron and the other I think was named Moses. In August 1847 the Greenbush Cemetery was incorporated and the incorporators were George Nicholl and Jesse Andrew. Jesse was married to Sarah Nicholl and I would love to know more about this George. Also because of this past query, I found that Jesse Andrew died on 18 May 1900 and wondered if this Greenbush Cemetery was possibly where he might be buried. Does anyone know if the Cemetery has been indexed? Again I want to say many thanks for the help that was given me by one of your kind research persons. She saved me possibly, years of research.

Looking for information on the family of Charles SPEER. One known son was Arthur Paul SPEER. They lived in Tippacanoe Co. This is my Grand children line on their father's side. Their grandfather Paul Duane SPEER died in 1986, he knew very little about his family. My grandchildren want to know more about their Indian line. Some of the family still live in Lafayette. Jan 1860 in MO They had children all born in Lafayette, IN Grace TURNER b.April 1881 maybe married to a man called FAY with children Lora Lee and Helen Helen TURNER B. 8 April 1883 married to Ralph Coppock Frank TURNER b. 30 Dec. 1885, my grandfather I would like to know who Grace married, I know she died before 1931. Frank received a bequest from Albert VANDERPLAAT in 1947, Albert may have been a relative as my grandfather always said his people were from Lafayette, Indiana. Seeking information regarding Catherine (BLANTON) & John MURPHY in Tippacanoe County in 1820-1835 era. Reported to have married in Kentucky & moved to Tippacanoe applying to modify a road for use of a ferry across Wabash River. John returned to Estill County Kentucky & became a minister until his death. I t is unclear whether Catherine expired in Indiana or returned to Kentucky with her husband. Also seeking information on Hudson SUTCLEFF ('SUTCLIFF', 'SUTLEFF', etc.) marrying Jane BLANTON (sister to Catherine) in Tippacanoe between 1830- 1840. She remarried later to Henry MOSS in Morgan County and lived out her life in Bowling Green, Clay County, Indiana.

Married Mary Elizabeth VANEATON, born August 29, 1859, Lafayette, Indiana. John and Mary were married in Council Grove, Kansas in 1880. Better known as Molly, she was a school teacher, and John was a teamster for the railroad. They had 9 children. Molly was the Civil War Widow of William Carrie. They had 1 son, before his death, William Worth Carrie, b. June 28, 1879, Holden, Missouri. The children of John and Molly are as follows: 1.) Lillian L. McConnell, b.
