Bloomingdale, Ind. April 21- (Special) Services for Curtis Walter Brenton,
64, Bloomingdale, who was found dead in his car about one-half mile east of the entrance
to Turkey Run State Park along State Road 47 Friday afternoon, will be held at 2
oclock (DST) Sunday afternoon at the Barnes Mortuary in Rockville. Rev. Louis Frost
will officiate. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.

54 years old, died at his residence 1524 Wilson Street at 11 oclock Tuesday morning.
He is survived by the wife, Stella; six sons, Robert, Charles, Donald, David, and Frank,
all of Terre Haute, and William, United States Army stationed in Germany; two daughters,
Mrs. Mildred Howard and Mrs. Marie Sims, both of Terre Haute; two brothers, Curtis,
Bloomington, Ind., and Melvin, Terre Haute; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Brock, Terre Haute. He
was a member of the Terre Haute Brewery Workers Union. The body was taken to the Gillis
Memory Chapel.

Mrs. Stella E. Brenton, 63, died at 5:30 oclock Wednesday morning at the
residence 1411 South Eleventh and One-half Street. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.
Marian Sims and Mrs. Mildred Howard, both of Terre Haute; six sons, David, Donald,
Charles, and Robert Brenton, all of Terre Haute; Frank, stationed at Ft Leonard Wood, Mo.,
and William Brenton, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Cartwright, Terre Haute,
Mrs. Sadie Booth, West Terre Haute, and Mrs. Laura Sartwell, of Indianapolis; four
brothers, William Taylor of Terre Haute, and Herbert, Charles, and Roy Taylor, all of
Indianapolis; 14 grandchildren and several neices and nephews. She was a member of the
Church of Christ at Fourteenth Street and Fifth Avenue. The body was taken to the Gillis
Memory Chapel.
