The funeral of THOMAS J DAILEY, 53 years old, who died at his residence, 504
Chestnut street, at 6:00 Wednesday morning following an extended illness, will be held at
10:30 Friday morning from Callahan's chapel. The burial will be in St Joseph's cemetery.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs ALICE DAILEY; one daughter, Mrs W D BUTTERFIELD and one
son, HUBERT DAILEY, of Lansing Mich.

Mrs. STELLA J DAVIS, wife of Dr WILLIAM S DAVIS, died at her home, 1222 Scotten
Avenue, Detroit, MI at 3:00 Thursday morning, following a serious operation. Mrs Davis was
well known by many relatives and friends in Terre Haute and Brazil, having lived in Brazil
as a girl and in Terre Haute after her marriage prior to moving to Detroit with her family
three years ago. She is survived by her husband; two sons, SYDNEY and WILLIAM; two
daughters, MARTHA and CATHERINE, of Detroit, and a married daughter, Mrs MARIAN SIMMS, of
Terre Haute; Prof and Mrs THOMAS JAMES, of Brazil, her parents; GEORGE JAMES, brother, of
Brazil; MILTON JAMES, of Terre haute; Mrs JESSIE HUNT, of North Dakota, a sister; Mrs RUTH
MCNABB, of Montana, a sister. Mrs Davis was a daughter-in-law of Judge S B DAVIS, of Terre
Haute, a member of the Presbyterian church and of many social and civic organizations.
Funeral services and burial will be at 10:00 Saturday morning from the residence at
Detroit, MI.

DILDINE, JOHNSON B., 67
years old, died at 4 oclock Wednesday afternoon at his home, nine miles east of
Terre Haute, following a long illness with paralysis. Mr. Dildine was born in that
vicinity and had spent his entire life there. He is survived by the wife, Mrs. Mary
Dildine; two daughters, and one son; also three sisters and three brothers. Arrangements
for the funeral have not been made.

DILDINE, JOHNSON, 67 years old, died at 4 oclock
Wednesday afternoon at the home, nine miles east of Terre Haute, following a long illness
with paralysis. He is survived by the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Dan Tormohlen of Riley,
and Miss Mildred at home; a brother, Leslie Dildine of Des Moines, Ia.; three sisters and
three brothers. The funeral will be held at 12:30 Saturday at the residence, with
continued service and burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Riley, Ind., Jan 10- Molly DILDINE, 77 years old, died at 9:45
oclock Thursday night at the residence, three miles northeast of Riley. She is
survived by one son, Leslie; two daughters, Mrs. Dan TORMOHLEN and Miss Mildred DILDINE;
one brother, Louis BRENTON; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Short funeral
services will be held at the residence at 1 oclock Sunday afternoon, with continued
services at the Oak Hill Church at 2 oclock. Burial will be made at the Oak Hill
Cemetery.

DODSON, ELIZABETH , 83 years old, died at the residence, 1461 Eagle street, at 10:30 o'clock Thursday night. She is survived by the son, Babel Rukes; 11 granchildren and 15 great grandchildren. North Eleventh street, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday in Union Hospital. He was a member of
Social Lodge No. 86, F&AM; the United Mine Workers of America and was employed at the
Green Valley Mine. Surviving are the widow, Frances; a son,Donald, and daughter, Mrs.
Shrley Mattox, both of Terre Haute, and three grandchildern. The body was removed to the
Ball-Poter Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday. Services will be at 10
a.m. Monday from the Ball-Porter chapel with the Rev. Robert Woehler officiating, Burial
will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Social Lodge No 86 F&AM will conduct Masonic
services at the grave.
