disease at 505 Main street, at 12:30 o'clock. She leaves a husband but no children.

GILMOUR, ALEXANDER, 73 years old, died Sunday afternoon
at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. James Condran, of Denver, Colo. He is survived by
the widow, Mrs, Jean Gilmour; two sons, Ben and Isaac Gilmour of New Goshen; two
daughters, Mrs. James Condron and Mrs. Thomas McCullough; one brother, James Gilmour, of
this city; three sisters, Mrs. William Hamilton, Mrs. James Hamilton, both of Terre Haute,
and Mrs. Jack Myrick of New Mexico; also 14 grandchildren. The body will arrive Wednesday
and will be taken to the home of his sister, Mrs. William Hamilton, 1610 Fifth Avenue,
from where the funeral will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with the burial in
Highland Lawn cemetery.

GILMOUR, BENJAMIN "Pat", 57 years old, died
suddenly at 10:30 o'clock Sunday night at the home, 217 Johnson Street, West Terre Haute.
He is survived by the widow, Margaret; five daughters, Mrs. John Hill, Mrs. Harry Drake,
Mary Gilmour, Jean Gilmour, and Anna Gilmour; a son, Alex Gilmour; a stepson, Joseph
McManus; one brother, Jason, and two sisters, Mary Condran and Janie Werner. The body was
taken to the Thomas Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.

GILMOUR, Mrs. ELIZABETH, 79, of Princeton died Monday
at 10:30 p.m. at the Gibson General Hospital after a short illness.Mrs. Gilmour was born
November 24, 1889 in Centrpoint, Ind. She had resided in Princeton the last 40 years
moving here from Terre Haute. She attended the United Brethren Church in Harmony. Mrs.
Gilmour was a member of Moose and Eagles Auxiliaries.Mrs. Gilmour was preceded in death by
her husband Isaac Gilmour in 1939. Survivors include, one son, Alex Gilmour of Princeton;
three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Yunginger, Mrs. Dorothy Neidlinger, and Mrs. Glenola Kuhn,
all of Princeton; one brother, Hughie Waugh of Terre Haute; an aunt, Mrs. Margaret
McGovern of Princeton; 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.Services will be held
Friday at 10 a.m. at Colvin Chapel. Dr. N. I. Schoolfield will officiate. Burial will be
in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Terre Haute. Friends amy call at Colvin and Son Mortuary
after 3 p.m. Thursday.

GILMOUR, ISAAC P., 52 years old, former Terre Huate
resident, died suddenly Friday morning at 1 o'clock at his home here of a heart attack. He
was ill only about two hours, having worked at King's mine Thursday. Funeral services will
be held at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the United Brethrren Church in charge of Rev.
P.S. Scull. Burial will be in Highland Lawn cemetery, Terre Haute. Surviving are the
widow, Elizabeth Gilmour; three daughters, Mrs. Claude Drew, Mrs. Mildred Lewis and
Glenola Gilmour, all of this city; one son, Alex Gilmour, Princeton; two sisters, Mrs.
James Condron, Princeton, and Mrs. Joseph Wernert of Denver, Colo., and six grandchildren.
Mr. Gilmour was born at Knightsville and had been a resident of Princeton for the past 11
years, having moved here from Terre Haute. He was employed at King's mine and was a member
of the U.M.W. of A. and of the Masonic Lodge in Terre Haute.

GILMOUR, Mrs. JEAN PARK, mother of Mrs. James Condran,
911 East Broadway, died at the home of her daughter at 5:15 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
Death followed a paralytic stroke. She was 65 years of age.The remains will be taken at
12:29 o'clock Friday afternoon to the home of a son, Ben Gilmour, West Terre Haute, where
the funeral services will be held Saturday. Burial will be in Highland Lawn cemetery,
Terre Haute. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Condron of this city, and Mrs. Joseph
Wernert, of Denver, Colo., and two sons, Ben and Isaac Gilmour, of West Terre Haute.
Seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Gilmour was a
member of the Church of England. She came to this country from Scotland 45 years ago.

GILMOUR, MARGARET HAMIL, 56 years old, died at 10:40
o'clcok Monday night at the residence, 121 North Seventh Street, West Terre Haute. She is
survived by two daughters, Jeannie Gilmour Cline and Anna Gilmour, both at home; two sons,
Joseph McManus of R.R. 1, Terre Haute and Alex Gilmour of St. Louis; three stepdaughters,
Mary Quill, of Ohio; Laverne Hill and Agnes Drake, both of Terre Haute; five brothers,
Robert Hamil of Australia, Peter Hamil of Scotland, David Hamil of Terre Haute, John Hamil
of Universal, and Frank Hamil of Camp Lee, Virginia, and two sisters, Sophia Llewellyn and
Patience Moeller, both of Terre Haute. The body was taken to the Thomas Funeral Home and
will be returned to the residence Wednesday evening. Funeral services will be held at the
Methodist Church in West Terre Haute at 2 o'clcok Thursday afternoon. Burial will be made
in Highland Lawn cemetery. Mrs. Gilmour was a member of Morris Chapter No. 86, Eastern
Star of New Goshen, Ind.

The Terre Haute Gazette (April 8, 1904) reported "Ira D. Grover, for many years a
leading druggist in Indianapolis, died in his apartment at the Blacherne early this
morning, after an illness of many months. Mr. Grover was a man of strong personality and
scholarly attainments and had a large circle of friends. He is survived by a widow, Mrs.
Ellen D. Grover, and two children - Miss Edith Grover and Arthur B. Grover. The funeral
tomorrow will be private and the burial will be in Crown Hill. Mr. Grover was born in
Columbus, Ohio in 1840. He went to Terre Haute at an early age, where he received his
education. His early manhood was spent in Boston. He came to Indianapolis in 1880 and for
18 years was in the drug business. Two years ago he went into the real estate business
with his son and was active until six months ago when he was compelled to retire owing to
ill health. Mr. Grover was a leading member of Plymouth church. He was a descendant of a
long line of distingu! ished New England ancestry, being in direct line from Governor
William Bradford of Plymouth Colony. Deceased will be well remembered by older citizens.
His father was one of the old settlers of Terre Haute. He was prominent in business,
church, and social circles. Miss Jane Hersey, the old school teacher, was an aunt of the
deceased. Ira D. Grover engaged in the drug business here for a time."

The Terre Haute Gazette (July 6, 1900) reported "Mrs. Ira Grover [nee Hersey]died
July 5th at 12 o'clock noon, at the residence of Mrs. T.C. Grover, 1425 First Avenue.
Funeral services to be held at the house Saturday morning, July 7, at 10 o'clock.
Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery." The same issue also reported "Lydia L. Grover,
a widow living at 1425 First Avenue, died last Thursday in her 88th year, from general
causes."

The Terre Haute Tribune (October 24, 1942) reported "Mrs. Mary Ann Grover [nee
Friel], 78 years old, died at the residence, 1430 North Twelfth Street, at 3:30 o'clock
Saturday morning. Surviving her are four sons, Harry and Robert of Terre Haute, John of
California, and Ira of Milwaukee, one daughter, Mrs. Mayme Holmes of Terre Haute, one
brother, John Friel of Indianapolis, 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was a
member of St. Ann's Church, St. Ann's Alter Society, and the Auxiliary of Krietenstein
Post No. 104, American Legion. The body was taken to the Callahan Funeral Home and will be
returned late Saturday evening to the residence, where services will be held at 3:30
o'clock Monday morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock at St. Ann's Church. Burial will be
at St. Joseph's cemetery. The rosary will be recited at the residence at 8 o'clock Sunday
night."

The Terre Haute Tribune (November 23, 1926) reported "Timothy W. Grover, 64 years
old, died at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the residence 1430 North 12th Street,
after a long illness. He is survived by the widow, Mary Grover; six sons, Ira of Center,
N.M., John of Indianapolis, Bernard of Dallas, Tex., Robert of Binghamton, N.Y., and Earl
and Harry of Terre Haute; and a daughter, Mrs. Fay Holmes of Binghamton, N.Y. The funeral
will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the residence with continued services at
9 o'clock at St. Ann's Church. Burial is St. Joseph's Cemetery."
