I'm trying to locate any information on W. Michael KADEL. He was born in Germany
and his father Adam (?) KADEL and mother Margaret seattled in Terre Haute, Vigo, IN. W.
Michael married Edith M. GILBERT on 21 May 1898 and seattled in Terre Haute. W. Michael
Kadel died on 13 April 1934 in Terre Haute. Edith and family moved to Los Angeles, CA

My great grandfather was a rabbi in Indiana in the early 1900's. His name was
Rabbi Jacob H. Kaplan and his wife was Sarah Kaplan. He lived in Terra Haute, Vincenes,
and Evansville. I am looking for any information about him and his family. I believe that
his wife may be buried in Terra Haute. Thanks so much!

KENNEDY - looking for parents of Cenus Hardy and Samuel KENNEDY. Cenus was born in 1870,
Samuel born before that time. Name of parents unknown. Father had come to Tennessee from
Terre Haute, had two sons from first marriage. It is not known if first wife died. He
married a woman who was part Indian and who had daughter by her first marriage named
Cordie. We have been told that his land was sold for taxes in early 1900's since complete
family had abandoned it Would appreciate any assistance in determining name of Cenus Hardy
KENNEDY's father. He was my great grandfather.

I am looking for the family of John Henry KENNEDY, Sec-Treasurer of United Mine Workers,
District 11 (1890-1907). Wife's name was Elizabeth, Daughter Susan. John lived on North
Street and died in 1907. I am a direct decendent of his first wife, Serena Williams,who
died in Texas. He served in the Union Army in San Saba Co. Texas.

Looking for info on William Marcellus Knobbs, born 5/7/1873 in Terre Haute, son of William
M. and Catherine Wiblen. Wm. Marcellus had four sisters and three brothers: Sarah Green,

I am looking for information regarding any LACHERs or KORS/KORHS. My ggg-grandfather
Joseph Robert Anthony LACHER was born in April 1835 in Switzerland. He arrived in the US
abt 1840...I don't know where. On May 19, 1863 he and Katherine Elizabeth KORS/KOHRS (b.
Jan 1846/48 in Prussia, arr. US abt 1848/50) were married in St. Joseph's University
Parish by Rev. T. Fintanus Mundwiler. They had the following children in Terre Haute,
Robert Henry (1865), Katherine Elizabeth (9/4/1866), and Frank (1869). The family moved to
Perry County Tennessee where the following children were born: Mary Helenah (8/8/1872),
Clara Mathilda (8/12/1876), Mathilda Gertrude (4/13/1878), Alyoisus (6/12/1881), and
Josephine Frances (3/12/1884). In Indiana he was a dairyman and in Tennessee he worked as
a brickmason. I've really hit a brick wall with these families....any help would be
immensely appreciated!!!
