Phebe (CREECH) WARD m2. Patrick McGIRR 11 Aug 1857 Vigo Co. They, dau Jane and Phebe's
son, Levi Ward, lived in Riley Twp. on 1870 census (name sometimes appears as McGar, etc.)
Cannot locate after this census. Any help appreciated. Phebe's sister, Temperance
"Tempy" (CREECH) TOLER and 2nd husband Jonathan L. Bivens last known 1892 when
they supplied a pension affidavid giving their residence as Terre Haute (probably not
directly in). Was Jonathan the John Bevins on 1900 Harrison, Vigo, census in household of
s/i/l Thomas HEFFNER (vol. 79, ed. 122)? Do these people show up on any Vigo Co. cemetery
records? Also really need help with family John M. PRICE and Charity BIVENS and children
Jeremiah b.1855 and Mariah b.1857 Price. Only known from 1860 Riley, Vigo Co. census. A
Price also provided an affidavit in previously mentioned pension file in 1892 Vigo Co.

Haute, Indiana in 1885. His wife, Mollie Troth was born in Terre Haute in 1889. Their
daughter (my grandmother) Frances Pauline was born in Brazil, Indiana in 1910. Can anyone

Livingston ISBELL, Sr moved his family to Vigo CO IN bef 1830 from KY. His sons were
Henderson C., Abel Harding, John, Ewing, and Livingston, Jr. Possibly a son THomas as
there is a Thomas buried in the same cem.
Henderson C. m1 Jane Edney and they had Lucinda and a boy that died at birth, Jane also
died then. He then m. Maria/Mariah WATTS on 16 Sept 1847 in Vigo CO. Their children were:
Joseph d. age 16, Martha m. Wm Osborne and resided in CLark CO IN, Millard, Alice bc 1853
m. C. R. Pritchard and resided in Montgomery CO KS, ## Minerva Jane bc 1855 m. Ira Andrew
HUFFMAN 24 Dec 1871, James d age 2 yrs, and Mary R. bc 1857 m. Francis Kirby resided in
Douglas CO IL.
Minerva Jane Isbell m. Ira Andrew Huffman in either Pike or Vigo CO IN on 24 Dec 1871.
When their only child was born on 18 Dec 1874 they were residing in Pike CO IN. Minerva
Jane d. sometime bef 1880 probably in either of the 2 counties. I have never found her
listed in cemetery records.
If you have any data on the above families I would appreciate your sharing it with me.

William COLLINS and wife Lucinda (WATTS) had 3 possibly 4 children. In the 1860 census
there are Marshall, Moses and Louisa. Buried in Lyken Cemetery is a Riley COLLINS listed
as son of Wm and Lucinda. I'm trying to find out if anyone has this line or information on
any of these children. They resided in Prairie Creek area.

Researching Mary Ann PRATHER who married Philetus WHITCOMB 6 April 1853 in Will County,
Illinois. She was supposedly born in 1825 in Vigo County, Indiana. I have unproven
information that shows her as Marian PRATHER, daughter of Henry PRATHER and Susan REGARD.
Their other children were Robert, Ruth, Hannah, Henry, Thomas, Edward, George and Ann, all
born in Vigo County between 1820 and 1840. Does anyone recognize this family?

Am researching the UZZELL, WIMBERLY and PETTIS families who have lived on the south side
of Terre Haute since around 1900. Josephine PETTIS (later WALLER) moved there between 1900
and 1910 (my grandfather said the year of "the flood") from St. Louis, MO. Ben
& Ella WIMBERLY were from Clarksville, TN, but their children migrated to Morganfield
KY, Evansville IN, Terre Haute IN and Indianapolis IN. David & Annie UZZELL were
listed in the 1910 Census in Terre Haute with 4 (of eventually 12) children. If anyone is
