Civil War Veteran Dies Levi Burk, aged 86, a veteran of the Civil War, died at his home near New Corydon. He had been ill from uremic poisoning and infirmities of age. He was preceded in death by his wife about fourteen years ago. he is survived by four sons, one daughter, fifteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the eleventh Indiana Cavalry, serving until the end of the war. The greater part of his life was spent in the vicinity of New Corydon. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday morning from the State Line Lutheran Church. The Rev. Mr. Osborn, pastor of the New Corydon Methodist Church will officiate, assisted by his son, the Rev. A.
