DAWES
Wabash, May 10 –

   Mrs. D. L. Dawes, 43, lifetime resident of this community, died this afternoon at her home south of Wabash after an illness of five years.

   She is survived by her husband, five children, Helen Fox, Alice Edith Camp, both of Wabash; Marjory, Dorothy and Edwin, all at home, as well as her mother and three brothers, Don, Leo and William, all of Wabash and one sister, Miss Alice Gurtner of Indianapolis.
