Wabash, May 13 -

  Funeral services for Lawrence Drook, 54, who died at his home here early this morning after an illness of five months duration, will be held at 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the residence with Rev. E. E. Cory in charge. Services at the Somerset Methodist Church will follow at 2 o’clock with Rev. Charles Windoffer in charge. Burial will be in Thrailkill Cemetery, near Marion.

   Mr. Drook was born in Grant County, but had spent the major part of his life in Somerset. He moved to Wabash nine years ago and had been an employee of the Container Corporation.

   Surviving are the widow; eight children, Murray and Robert Drook of Somerset; Amos, Donald, Lawrence and John Drook, all of Wabash and Marcella and David Drook, at home; six grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
