Laketon, Sept. 7 –

   Funeral services for Homer Hathaway, 70, who died at his home near here last evening, will be held at 2:30 o’clock on Monday afternoon at the United Brethren Church in North Manchester with Rev. Noah McCoy in charge. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery there.

   Mr. Hathaway died suddenly, although he had been in ill health for some time. He was a native of Illinois, but lived in Laketon for a number of years and 17 years ago moved to his present home.

   He is survived by his widow and the following children: Paul Hathaway, North Manchester Marshall, Mrs. Mary Kramer, North Manchester and Durwood Hathaway of Claypool.
